I   would   like   to   extend   an   invitation   to   come   see   the   world   through my   eyes.   While   I   love   to   paint   plein   air,   enjoying   the   out-of-doors and   being   continually   inspired   by   the   landscape   through   changing seasons   and   times   of   day,   I   also   enjoy   the   hours   spent   in   my studio. Studio   time   is   for   reflecting,   experimenting   and   analyzing   the   why and   how   pieces   come   together   -   or   fall   apart.   In   the   studio   I'm   able to   synthesize   some   of   the   ideas   I've   touched   on   fleetingly   while painting   outside.   Ideas   that   are   ephemeral   simply   because   of   the swiftly-changing   light   and   the   excitement   that   drives   successful plein-air painting. I   hope   you   will   enjoy   the   various   'themes'   and   appreciate   the   many 'ideascapes' that are the driving force behind my art.
